Raise Your Hand Action will head to Springfield for an in-person advocacy day on Wednesday May 9th.

We know this is a big ask, especially for those of us with childcare commitments, but it's crucial that our legislators hear from us face to face on these issues!

We'll spend the day talking to IL state senators and representatives to advocate for our legislative agenda. You can read more here about the bills we are supporting and opposing this session. (Not all bills will make it out of committee, so the list of what's still alive and needs pushing for or pushback against will change over the next few weeks!)

We will arrange to go by carpooling or Amtrak. Expect to be gone from about 6am til 7pm.  Look for an email from us about one week before to coordinate travel plans.
